Do pilots ever use checklists? Thats ridiculous. In my neck of the woods, if you forget to use your checklist on a flight test/check ride, its an automatic fail.

OMG what retards how do you forget to lower you landing gear...my opinion is that (I have nothing against airliner pilots) airliner pilots need to go to basic training or something like the military but you just don't hear military pilots "Forgetting to lower their landing gear or falling asleep in the cock pit".
